A Unique Setting

​

What makes THE SPIRIT OF DAVOS unique is that most of the dialogue and workshop take place on the mountains of Davos.

We start the event with a fire site chat on the evening of January 14, 2023 at the breathtaking Schatzalp above the city of Davos. The second part of the event on January 15, 2023 takes place on skis or snowboard in the beautiful Parsenn ski resort of Davos.

Please note that you need to be at least an intermediate skier or snowboarder to attend the second part of the event as it takes place on the mountain in the Parsenn ski resort.

Coaches and Partnership

​

Dr. Thomas Juli is a human business architect, founder and curator of Motivate2B, speaker and Executive Agile Transformation Coach for Allianz. He is the author “The Spirit of Human Business: How to Rediscover our Human Being to Shape our Future” (2021, Business Agility Institute, Los Angeles). His vision is to help human business become the new global normal by 2030. He is a passionate skier and snowboarder and has worked as a professional ski and snowboard instructor in the American Rockies.

Petra Ahonen is a Davos local and former professional world cup snowboarder. She currently works in the biggest nature park in Switzerland teaching environmental education. She studied psychology and is a mindfulness- and meditation teacher. Petra grew up in Davos and her love for the environment and knowledge of local area positions makes her a perfect match to teach you how to shape a better future in the Davos area.

Dialogue and Coaching Workshop on the mountain

Time: 9.00 – 16.00

Meeting Point: Base of Parsenn Bahn, Davos

The dialogue and coaching take place on our ski lift rides as well as coffee and lunch breaks. Before we hit the slopes after the lift rides you will get a snippet or small but easy task to explore while skiing or riding. The remainder of the time we ski or snowboard and enjoy the great outdoors. And, if you like, the coaches Petra and Thomas are happy to give personal tips for improving your skiing or riding.

• Regular Rate: 780 € / CHF

• Local Davos Residents: 180 € / CHF

 

Fees include lift ride to Schatzalp, drinks and snacks on January 14, lift pass, coffee and lunch breaks on January 15. In case participant already owns a ski pass January 15, subtract 60 CHF

Participants are responsible for providing their own ski or snowboard equipment. Participants ski or ride at their own risks and commit to complying with the FIS rules on the mountain. The workshop on the mountain is not a skiing or snowboarding lesson.

 

 

FAQs

Is skiing or snowboarding part of the retreat?

​

Yes, day 2 of the retreat takes place in the Parsenn ski resort. Bring your own skis or snowboard and ski and ride with professionals. However, please understand that while your coaches are also former professional skiers and snowboarders the workshop is not a skiing or snowboard lesson.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
