Julia Vendramin
Julia Vendramin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Labell-d, the world’s first platform providing a closed-loop fashion ecosystem. With over 15 years of experience in the industry across marketing, ecommerce and operations, she and her husband and Co-Founder, Nicolas, were inspired to create Labell-d with the goal of helping both consumers and the fashion industry to build a more sustainable future. Julia first fell in love with fashion in her teens, when she began working in high end boutiques in her native Germany. She quickly progressed to become a store manager overseeing and began attending fairs, fashion shows and buying events which nurtured her passion for the industry. Her time at the boutique inspired Julia to study Textile Management at Reutlingen University. During her studies, she traveled to Asia, visiting a number of textile factories where she witnessed firsthand several of the shortcomings endemic to the fashion industry. This lead to a realization that although she loved fashion, something needed to change. She was inspired to focus her Bachelor’s Thesis on organic cotton, working with Remy to source products for bigger brands including Italian brand Marco Polo. Her interest in creating a more sustainable industry inspired her to shift her focus to the management and business side of fashion which led to a position with Hugo Boss in the United States building company strategy and working across the brand’s merchandising. Following the completion of her degree, she worked for Hugo Boss in New York City before relocating to Como, Italy to focus on Merchandising Functions for accessories. It was here that she first met co-founder and husband Nicolas. After five years with Boss Black, she and Nicolas moved to London to launch Swishmode, an online platform for independent retailers throughout Europe. After selling Swishmode, Julia moved to Burberry in a leadership position focused on accessories, where she worked for eight years. Her first year at Burberry in 2015 reinforced the need for change within the fashion industry. Julia noticed a shift towards luxury brands focusing on creating more products and further collections to meet demand from consumers, as opposed to focusing on creating beautiful products that are made to last. In addition to creating waste, this also creates stress within the business, with a high turnover of overproduced products that are sold at discount. Covid provided the couple with an opportunity to pursue their dream of creating a holistic solution inspired by their love of fashion and their goal to protect the planet, to help consumers and the fashion industry to operate more sustainably together. Of the thought process behind creating Labell-d, she says; “We recognised the need for sustainable fashion from a platform that offers a solution in a new and cool way, and the gap in the market for consumers seeking to buy more sustainably. At the moment, there isn’t a standard system for classification of products or of sustainability standards, leaving it to the consumer to educate themselves and to mix and max solutions – buying second hand, renting for single wear occasions like weddings. Labell-d shifts the consumption model by providing one solution, allowing us to reduce the impact on the environment with the world’s first closed loop fashion ecosystem.”

Danielle Sunberg
High performers are experts at doing. I help you master the art of being.
What has the world told you about success? We are taught we need three things: wealth, power, and prestige. But we all know people who have all three and are profoundly unfulfilled.
Fulfillment isn’t something we acquire by stacking achievements or checking boxes.
It’s about remembering who we are.
We must go on this courageous inner journey of knowing ourselves to excel at the outer journey of leading ourselves, our businesses, and the world.
At the pinnacle of my success as a commercial litigator for a renowned firm in Washington D.C., I was diagnosed with depression. Despite having achieved everything society taught me to desire, something was missing. I felt like I had followed someone else’s blueprints for life.
After successfully defending my client against a $6 billion judgment, I left my firm. I built a new life as an entrepreneur. I poured myself into a million cups of coffee through the long stretches of the night. I achieved incredible heights with a successful acquisition. But I was still burned out and overwhelmed.
I decided to backpack six continents exploring the fundamental question: “Who am I?”
Of all the places I traveled, the most important was my inner being. I learned that when we connect to who we are at our deepest levels, life becomes limitless.
I am fueled by the courageous few who are dedicated to their biggest dreams. This is the path of authentic leadership, and I’d be honored to help you navigate your ability to live at the intersection of possibility and purpose. As your guide, I’ll navigate you through the unknown and you’ll explore realms of deep personal wisdom and cultivate the most powerful compass for your life and legacy.
